What time/season is farm stand open ? Open Memorial Day weekend, Friday May 26th, through the day before Thanksgiving. (closes at 4pm now for Fall hours in November) open everyday but tuesday, 9-4
Where is the Christmas Tree farm located? The Tree Farm is located on Fresh Pond Avenue in Calverton / Baiting Hollow. Same general area as the apple orchard. Between Sound Avenue and rt 25A.
How much are your cut and "live"/balled trees? All cut trees, whether you cut it yourself or if it's a pre-cut tree, were $65 for 2023. That low price includes tax and wrapping. That is for ANY size and ANY type from 1 foot tall to 15 plus feet tall. So please don't cut or take any baby trees or tops of trees. We also provide free twine to tie the tree onto your car with. Customers are responsible for securing the trees to their cars. We also provide balled / "live" trees that can be replanted. All live/balled trees were $75 for 2023.
Do you provide customers with trailer rides in the Christmas Trees? Yes. We do offer free trailer rides out to the trees for cutting. When you cut one you can bring it out to the roads and wait for a tractor to come and bring you back as well. We advise to always stay with your tree and to be mindful that on busy weekend days there will be longer wait times for tractor service. Try and bring trees to some of the marked stops for pick up and drop off. Keep your tree tag and stay with your tree to match numbers.
Do you provide customers with saws and/or do you allow chain saws? We do provide bow saws to use and just require a $5 deposit for their use which is returned to you or taken off the price of the tree when you give it back. We also allow customers to bring their own saws, including chain saws (at their own risk). Caution must be used when handling any saw.
Where is the apple orchard located? Fresh Pond Avenue, aprox 1 1/2 miles east of farm stand, follow signs.
Where is Tomato/Pepper/Eggplant field located? finished for 2023
Where is Raspberry and Blueberry field? It is approximately 1/4 mile east of the farm stand on south side of Sound Avenue. Drive in off the road in parking lot field. finished for 2023
Where is Peach Orchard? Peaches are across the street from the farm stand. Follow signs down the dirt road on North side of Sound Avenue. 1/4 mile west of farm stand. finished for 2023

Are the Lewin Farms Series limited-release beers brewed by North Fork Brewing Company made with your own fruit? Yes!! Last year introduced the Peach Ale which was a big success and this year we now have Strawberry Blonde Ale brewed with our own sweet handpicked strawberries! Brewed by expert craftsmen at North Fork Brewin Company of Riverhead. Stay tuned this season for new releases and events!
Are Pets allowed in store or in U-Pick Fields? No, sorry. For health and safety reasons pets are not allowed in. Valid essential service animals to do a specific task only please.
Where is strawberry field? The field is located approximately 500 feet west of the farm stand, on the opposite (North) side of Sound Avenue. Picking days vary week to week depending on availability and weather, always call the day of. U-Pick generally open 9-4:30 dependent on weather and availability. Follow signs to park, drive all the way down dirt road to park. Drive all the way in, lots of parking past the U-Pick trailer as well.
